Our Quest will officially begin on January 8th!
We are calling this the “Beta Quest” –– there are many elements of the Quest that are new to us and we expect glitches and technical issues along the way. The benefit to you? A price less than a cup of coffee and the chance to play a very important role in the development of the program! What we want from you? Honest feedback and suggestions! Why aren’t we starting on January first? The most important reason is that I (Kristi) don’t believe in January 1 resolutions. Most of the time, for most people, (and in my personal experience), Jan. 1 resolutions don’t work. Why? A resolution is different from a S.M.A.R.T. goal. SMART goals involve planning and because of that, they work!
Historically, I make my “resolutions” on Feb. 1 and take the month of January to evaluate where I am, what I want and specifically plan how to get there. December is a month of holiday busyness, abundant gatherings and appointments, and a month I carefully guard myself emotionally in because the holidays generally trigger low moods and high anxiety for me. January is a month of possibility and fresh starts! .
…this year, I’m only giving myself a week to prepare to support you questers who are ready to go. Also, the number 108 has special meanings in yoga. January 8 could be written as “1 08″… see the connection? It’s as good a reason as any!
